What’s your favorite quotations?

“Autists are the ultimate square pegs, and the problem with pounding a square peg into a round hole is not that the hammering is hard work. It’s that you’re destroying the peg.” ― Paul Collins

“Where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other.”
― Carl Jung

“Fear is just an illusion and if you believe in this illusion, you are creating your reality. What can you believe in that is not fear? Love. Love is your essence. If you move from fear deep into your heart, you will discover that there is a beautiful little light that you have forgotten. The more you look at this light, the more it will expand in you. Then you will not need to look at the fear because you will be too busy looking at the beauty inside of yourself.” ― Tony Samara

“Love seeketh not herself to please, nor for herself hath any care, but in another, finds her ease, and builds a heaven in hell’s despair.” ― William Blake

    • Sometimes a change is a good as a …. oh well, that doesn’t really fit, does it, Imogen? Thanks for noticing and for your kind response! I’ve come to believe that the only constant in the Cosmos is ‘change’… so I guess I’m just conforming to the Second Law of Thermodynamics (all existence tends towards increased randomness). lol AAM

  1. One of my favourite, inspiring, comforting and much needed quote is:

“If you’re going through hell, keep going”
    ~Winston Churchill

It’s funny, I just recently found this one and it ties into something I’ve said to myself for so many years:

    “Never give up”

No idea who was the author, if there was one, but it kept me going.

I don’t know how I made it – still in one piece – the words must have helped 🙂
